Thank you for taking the time to stop by this Blog and specifically this page. If you are here this means you are interested in a Review or Giveaway hosted by this Blog. Below is some information to help you make an informed choice in submitting your request to us.
- 1000 + Books to Read will Post a Review of your book on their Blog, Facebook and Twitter Account.
- 1000 + Books to Read will Post the same Review on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and Goodreads as applicable.
- 1000 + Books to Read will link the Blog Post on the Blogs main page under the Heading's "Author", "Series".
- 1000 + Books to Read does host blog tours, Guest Posts and will be hosting a Blog Hop in the near future.
- 1000 + Books to Read would love to Host a Giveaway promoting your book along with the Review.
What Genres do we accept?
- As you can tell we LOVE Paranormal and Paranormal Romance. However we are open to more than just that. Sci - Fi, Romance, YA, to name a few. If you are an Author of a Paranormal (including sub genres of Urban Fantasy, Fantasy) Sci - Fi and YA (romance included for all those genres) please submit your books. We will GOBBLE them up! We are not interested in historical fiction or non, self help, political, autobiographies or religious books.
- If you are unsure, please email us a summary and based on that we will let you know if it is something we would be interested in reviewing for you.
Things to Consider:
- 1000 + Books to Read is a Review blog and these Reviews are not always Positive. Please understand that by submitting your Book for Review this does not mean you will get a favorable Review. However, you will get an honest, helpful one. If for any reason I am unable to finish the book I will not post a review. I will email to let you know what that reason may be.
- 1000 + Books to Read reads for enjoyment purposes and Reviews just the same. There is no fee or compensation associated with a Review. However, you are responsible for getting the book to us, that includes any postage and/or shipping fees.
- 1000 + Books to Read is not responsible for any lost or stolen materials. If you choose to ship or mail your book to us you understand that if it is lost in transit or not received 1000 + Books to Read can not be held liable.
- 1000 + Books to Read does accept books in E-Reader formatting, specifically E-Pub format. However, we do enjoy old school paperback, hardcover and manuscript formats as well.
- 1000 + Books to Read reserves the rights to all posts on this blog pertaining to any and all Book Reviews. If your Book is Reviewed you are welcome and even encouraged to Share the Review. However you must Share with a link back to our Original Post. Just like you as an author, we would like the credit and recognition deserved.
- 1000 + Books to Read reads avidly yet also has a life. Because of this there is no time table associated with how long it will take to read your book and Review it. We do try and get through each book as quickly as possible however we take our time to make sure the Review and Book is given the time and attention it deserves. If you are expecting your Book to be read and Reviewed in a day or two this is not the site for you. If you have a deadline in which you'd like this Review to be done by, please let us know and we will try to work this out with you if at all possible.
- 1000 + Books to Read reserves the right to refuse any Review request for any reason. Please understand that while it is the goal to Review every Book received this is not guaranteed. If I have accepted the copy for Review purposes my intent IS to Review it however there is no guarantee that this will happen. If you belong to one of these unusual circumstances you will be notified by email the reasoning.
Please be advised that there is a LONG review request list of over 100 Indie Authors as of November 2011. The longer the list the longer the wait, however, I believe it's worth it. Guest Posts are filled for 2011 and are being scheduled for 2012.
